We had been commissioned by the land owner and a developer consortium team (Linden Homes, Taylor Wimpey Homes and Bovis Homes) to assist on the development of a phase 1 ‘detailed design code’ following the grant outline planning permission for this high-profile site.
Following a detailed testing process of all the overarching design documentation and extensive consultation with the Princes Foundation and the local planning authority, this lead to the approval of the detailed design code.
We were further commissioned to undertake reserved matters applications for Linden Homes for 190 units (which included a fully bespoke house type range) and Taylor Wimpey Homes for 43 units; which have now both been successful in achieving planning permission.
Following planning permission, we were further commissioned by Linden homes to undertake detailed civil engineering design work and the first phase of construction, is currently emerging.
The scheme’s will assist in the delivery of an important 1st phase of this high quality new community.
